Job Overview

As a Property Manager at Medyaf, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and upkeep of a portfolio of short-term rental properties. This role is key to ensuring the smooth operation of each property and maintaining the highest standards for guest experience and property condition. You will coordinate with maintenance teams, manage guest inquiries, and oversee property turnovers, ensuring each property is guest-ready at all times. You’ll work closely with property owners to meet their goals and optimize rental performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Property Oversight: Manage the daily operations of a portfolio of short-term rental properties, ensuring they are well-maintained, guest-ready, and operating efficiently.
  • Guest Communication: Act as the main point of contact for guest inquiries, providing timely and professional responses to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Maintenance Coordination: Schedule and oversee routine maintenance and repairs, working with vendors and contractors to ensure any property issues are resolved promptly.
  • Property Turnovers: Manage cleaning and property turnover between guest stays, ensuring that each property is prepared for new arrivals with fresh linens, restocked supplies, and a clean, welcoming environment.
  • Financial Reporting: Monitor property expenses and income, providing regular reports to property owners on property performance, occupancy, and revenue.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure that all properties comply with local regulations, safety standards, and insurance requirements.
  • Property Optimization: Work with property owners to identify opportunities for improving guest satisfaction, occupancy rates, and overall property performance, such as adding new amenities or upgrading property features.
  • Vendor Management: Build relationships with local service providers for landscaping, pest control, and repairs to ensure that all maintenance and services are handled efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in property management, hospitality, or real estate, with a focus on short-term rentals or residential properties.
  • Guest Management: Proven ability to manage guest relationships and handle guest inquiries or issues in a professional manner.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple properties, tasks, and vendors simultaneously, ensuring that all responsibilities are met on time.
  • Problem Solving: A proactive approach to identifying and resolving property or guest-related issues, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Tech-Savvy: Experience using property management software, CRM systems, and basic project management tools. Familiarity with Airbnb, VRBO, and Booking.com platforms is a plus.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to the evolving needs of short-term rental properties.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with guests, vendors, and property owners effectively.
